About Buffi

Buffi Duberman (yes, that’s her real name and it’s really spelled that way) is a native New Yorker who has spent more than half her (long) life coaching fabulous people in the use of their English. She is the founder of the English department at Europe’s oldest pop music college, the Rock Academy in Tilburg, the Netherlands, and is the English department at the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven. She is also the personal English coach to many established artists in the Netherlands and Belgium, and a consultant for various TV shows such as Idols, X Factor, and So You Wanna Be a Pop Star?. She is the author of Rock Your English!, the fresh and fun(ky!) way to tackle and improve English grammar, based on song lyrics and pop quizzes.  Buffi has the best job in the world, does it with boundless passion, energy, humor and dedication, and is lucky enough to work for the some of the most amazing people on the planet. She would love to tell you what she does in her spare time but she doesn’t have any.
